'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the town, there was buzz of a social event going down.  The Women in Business would all be about, the place was the Lodge and the party they'd tout.

The guests would arrive all dressed in warm threads, while music of the season was piped into their heads.  Shelley in her black dress and Anne in her wrap, would greet them and give them a little love tap.

This couldn't have happened without help from some elves.  Thank you Shelley and Krista, be proud of yourselves.  Lisa and Anne had a part in this too.  Without them we couldn't have had this fab do.

We can't forget others who supported our cause, Barrita at Cotton's deserves our applause.  And Liz, yes Liz Fritsch, she provided the cake.  We all knew what an impression that'd make.

We have some donations from real generous folks, we're so glad to tell you, who lifted our hopes.  I'll shout from the rooftops, I'm happy to claim, these donors are special, I'll call them by name.

Now Hi-Pro!  Gail Parkhurst!  Mary Kay and Square One!  On Attentive Bookkeeping, you're all second to none.  From Lisa at the Treasure Basket to Andrea at LendingMax.  Thank you Ladies!  Thank you Ladies!  You've got all our backs!

There's more, yes there's more!  I know it's hard to believe, but even more people gave to this lovely eve.  The Chamber of Commerce and Triboda as well.  Have you seen Menza's work?  It's so beautiful, I had to tell!

Office 2 Office-Liz Sweezie, Maureen-Mary Kay, have also had their hands in helping out this fine day.  Shelby at Okanagan Natural Medicine and Laura at Independent Living, were also in the mood, this season, for giving.

From North Okanagan Property we saw Adrienne donate, without all these women, our party wouldn't be so great.  Billie-Jo at Be Light Wellness and Lisa at Heritage Makers donated some time and provided some favors. 

Another two ladies, Zoe Stevens and Marie, from Hayden Fitness, provided for free, a couple of gifts that are for your pleasure, one is work and the other's for leisure. 

Susan Chartrand and Anne at Precision Accounting, both added to our list, as it was mounting.  This night could not go by, and I would be remiss, if I didn't thank the Vernon Lodge for the use and beauty of this.

Members & Guests thank you all, 'cause without you I know, there's no way our party could've been such a show.

Donations of gifts, goods, money and time, from all over the city.  We all think you're sublime.  This association is wonderful, I joined way too late.  The generosity and support given here is so great!

Vernon Women in Business is right where it's at.  Networking is secondary to personal growth, that's a fact!

Time to get going, thanks for your attention.  I'm sure you thought I'd speak until I could collect my pension.  Please enjoy this night, this place and these guests.  I'm hoping you have many more holiday fests.
