Who We Are...

Vernon Women in Business (VWIB) is a nonprofit organization formed in the early 1980's to provide support for all women. VWIB recognizes all the roles that women play and is a support group for all women, whether representing a company, self employed, in career transition, home making, and parenting.

Our association offers networking opportunities and serves in raising the profile of its members' businesses. We have one Lunch Meeting and one Evening Meeting a month, on the first and third Wednesday.

Vernon Women in Business provides 2 Scholarships for students attending Okanagan College and is the founder of the prestigious "Woman of the Year" award. Both are presented annually. The nomination form for the Woman of the Year can be viewed and printed here.
