Angela Sommer

Angela Sommer is a pianist and vocalist with a passion for passing on her craft to the next generation. Growing up and taking her music training in Germany she went performing and travelling throughout Europe.

After moving to Canada she sang with the Vancouver Bach Choir, the Cowichan Musical Society and as a soloist with many local choirs and vocal groups. She often served as the collaborative pianist for performances on stage and in church.

She first founded Angelkeys Music Studio in Williams Lake in 1995 and has taught and coached Voice, Piano and Stage Performance ever since. She performed in many community events and concerts and lead multiple choirs, shows and vocal groups over the years.

Now living in Vernon BC, she continues to teach through her private studio and currently leads three choirs for singers called ‘Bumblebees’ for children, ‘Fire and Ice’ for teens and ‘Harmonious Divas’ for women in Vernon.

She loves performing as a vocalist with her choirs and as a collaborative pianist throughout the Okanagan Valley encouraging and accompanying singers of all ages.
