The Magic of Music and You
I believe Music is a key to our innermost being. There are many music styles and every person has different preferences. Being a good musician is not limited to one particular style or method. Therefore, I teach many different music styles and use a variety of methods to allow my students to progress to be the best they can possibly be. Teaching music does not only include musical literacy and musicianship but also universal life skills like self-confidence, discipline, compassion, joy and tenacity. Many years ago, I chose to teach music and it has more and more become my tool kit to encourage people.
The goal is not to make people into a certain kind of musician but to explore each person’s connection to the sounds of their soul.
After 25 years of teaching I have yet to meet someone who could not improve their singing, piano and performance or public speaking skills. Our mind is our greatest obstacle. Don’t let it stop you.
